Purpose: The Upcycle Challenge

BACKGROUND & APPROACH: Paraiso and the City of Miami Beach want to raise awareness on the waste the global fashion industry creates. We created The UpCycle Challenge, a national student competition, in partnership with Parsons and FIT. The competition invited design students to create two pieces from donated deadstock fabrics, for the opportunity to present at PARAISO Miami Beach, cash prizes and mentorship program with renowned designers (Vitamin A, Maaji, L Space and Volcom).

TAKEAWAYS: We were able to generate a lot of positive media coverage, content and increased awareness around the waste created by the fashion industry and beyond.

Purpose: The NY Foundling

BACKGROUND & APPROACH: The NY Foundling is looking for new ways to engage with its donors, identify new revenue streams and build awareness. We created a collaboration between petitePARADE and The NY Foundling, inclusive of a pop-up retail experience and an awareness campaign. The photo shoot featured students from the NY Foundling charter school in the Bronx.

TAKEAWAYS: A percentage of the sales was donated to The NY Foundling and the event generated a lot of interest in the organization as well as quality content to be repurposed through the NYF different channels and media coverage.
